# AFTERHOURS — artwork, sound & credits

A fictional listening bar and six-page design exploration by SlateMark Studio, September 2026. This is not a real venue. Menus, prices, programs and seating plans are illustrative. No reservations, ticket purchases, payments or submissions are accepted.

## Original work

- Brand identity, layouts, record sleeves, animated turntable and interactive room plan: created for this concept by SlateMark Studio.
- `room.jpg`, `cocktail.jpg`, `detail.jpg`: original imagined venue artwork generated with the built-in OpenAI ImageGen tool. Full prompts and original file paths are recorded in the project’s `scripts/AFTERHOURS-IMAGE-PROMPTS.md`.
- Velvet Hour, Blue Current and Last Light: original procedural sound sketches composed in JavaScript for the website. They use synthesized keys, bass and percussion, not sampled recordings or external music streams. Audio begins only after a visitor chooses to play it. The excerpts loop.

## Dependencies

- Instrument Serif, Syne and IBM Plex Mono: SIL Open Font License. The corresponding license files are included here.
- GSAP and ScrollTrigger 3.13.0: https://gsap.com/standard-license/.
- All fonts, images, graphics and scripts are hosted with the site. The sound is synthesized locally using the browser’s Web Audio API.

The optional evening plan and preferences live in the browser session. They do not contact a venue. Nothing is held, charged or sent.
