Your case goes on the machine. Five-axis, one billet, then bead-blasted and anodised or oiled by hand.

Because nothing is made before you order it. The case is machined for you, the switches are lubed by hand, and the foam stack is cut to the plate you chose. We could hold stock of four configurations and ship next day — that would be a different company.
Yes. Every board is hot-swap, so switches pull out with a puller and no soldering. We’ll send a full set of any of the three for the difference in price plus shipping, at any point in the board’s life.
Anything we machined or assembled. Stabilisers that develop a rattle, a socket that stops registering, a case that needs re-anodising after a decade of use. It does not cover a new keycap set because you got bored of the old one — though we’ll happily sell you one.
Only physically. The firmware is QMK with VIA enabled, so every key on every layer is remappable in the browser without flashing anything. What you can’t change after the fact is how many keys are on the board — that one is worth thinking about.
Acoustically, it is brighter and decays faster than aluminium — a genuinely different board, not a better one. It is also three weeks slower and harder to machine, which is where the money goes. If you have never typed on both, start with aluminium.
We open twelve build slots a month. Joining the queue costs nothing and holds your place — you only pay once your case is on the machine.
