1. What this notice covers
This Cookie Notice explains how the SlateMark Studio website uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. Cookies are small files a site can store in your browser; similar technologies do comparable things.
2. What we use today
We try to keep this site light. As of the effective date above, this website does not use analytics, advertising or social media pixels, or other non-essential tracking cookies. We do not build advertising profiles or sell data. Only technologies that are essential for the site and its forms to function are used.
3. Categories of cookies and technologies
- Strictly necessary (in use) — needed for the website and its contact and site-read forms to load, submit securely, and resist spam. These cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality, and they do not require consent.
- Analytics / performance (not currently used) — would measure how visitors use the site. We do not run these today.
- Marketing / advertising (not currently used) — would track visitors for advertising. We do not run these today.
4. Third-party services
The site is hosted on a third-party platform (currently Netlify), which handles form submissions and may set essential cookies and log standard technical data (such as IP address) to deliver messages and protect against abuse. The site also loads fonts from a third-party font provider (currently Google Fonts), which may receive your IP address as part of serving those fonts. These providers act under their own privacy and cookie terms.
5. Why there is no consent banner
Because the site does not currently set non-essential or tracking cookies, no cookie consent banner is shown. If we add analytics or other non-essential technologies in the future, we will update this notice and, where required by law, present a consent banner that lets you Accept, Reject, or Manage preferences before any non-essential technology runs.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can view, block, or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site — such as the forms — from working correctly.
